ARC North Thames researcher Professor Monica Lahkhanpaul presented her work to address child homelessness during the COVID-19 pandemic, as part of the Pathways From Homelessness 2021 Symposium on Monday 8th March 2021.
Monica's talk 'Invisible children: the child homelessness pandemic - a time for action' included the CHAMPIONS project, the only national study looking at the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic, and associated health services and societal response, on families with children under 5 living in temporary accommodation.
Pathways From Homelessness is an annual symposium, developed by Pathway and the Faculty for Homeless and Inclusion Health, and bringing together a coalition of partners to focus on the many issues affecting homeless people’s wellbeing.
