Congratulations to ARC North Thames researchers on their 2021 NIHR Senior Investigators awards

A huge congratulations to ARC North Thames researchers, Professor Chris Bonell on his appointment and Professor Anne Schilder on her reappointment, as National Institute for Health Research (NIHR) Senior Investigators. 

They join 46 NIHR Senior Investigators in the 14th round of awards, announced in March 2021.

Professor Chris Bonell is a Principal Investigator in our population health and social care theme, an epidemiologist, and Professor of Public Health Sociology at the Department of Public Health, Environments and Society, London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine (LSHTM).

Professor Anne GM Schilder is a researcher and PhD supervisor in our innovation and implementation science theme, Director of the NIHR University College London Hospitals Biomedical Research Centre (UCLH BRC), and Director of evidENT at the UCL Ear Institute, University College London (UCL).

NIHR Senior Investigators are among the most prominent and prestigious researchers funded by the NIHR and the most outstanding leaders of patient and people-based research within the NIHR research community.
