Stephen is undertaking a 9-month NIHR funded research internship for 2 days a week. His substantive role is a commissioner in social care, where he designed and purchased homecare and carer services. He is in the year of his write-up of his PHD in Social Policy & Social Work focussing on the impact of carer gender and social care practitioner decision making in social care.
