EXPERTISE AND INTERESTS

Oliver is looking at self-harm and suicide in males compared to females for his PhD, for which he is currently undertaking a systematic review on the effectiveness of psychosocial interventions for self-harm in males compared to females. His bachelor’s degree is in psychology and he has masters’ in health psychology and public health. He has worked in a variety of roles in both physical and mental health; including research in both of these. He sits on the HRA East Midlands – Nottingham 1 Research Ethics Committee.
