EXPERTISE AND INTERESTS

Mark Dale was a valued member of our RAP panel, but sadly passed away in 2024. You can read our tribute to him here.

Mark had lived experience of mental ill health, which made him very passionate about patients' voices being heard. His family and volunteer work in this area helped him to stay well. Mark was interested in research as the building blocks of health and social care, and enjoyed being part of this process, having a voice in steering what research can do and develop.

In 2022, Mark was awarded a Queens Platinum Champions award for Queen Elizabeth II's Platinum Jubilee.
