Inclusion Lead
Juliet Amoa is a highly skilled health and social care professional who has practiced on the front line and as a senior leader in Lambeth for more than 35 years. She has a degree in Approved Social Practice (ASW/AMHP) and is a qualified Best Interest Assessor (BIA).
Juliet is currently employed as Associate Director, Equity & Inclusion Community Health and Engagement, London Borough of Lambeth Council and seconded to the NIHR North Thames ARC 1 day a week.
Since being appointed Associate Director of EDI Community Health and Engagement five years ago, Juliet has worked with communities and the workforce to address inequalities and co-create programs for change.
Juliet has delivered numerous workshops and programmes that are at the heart of organisational development and with a focus on Equity and inclusion. These have been delivered both within the council and across London and the Integrated Care System. Juliet leads 2 London programmes, inspire, The Supporting the Health of Black Londoners and the Talking Race Inequality programme for London Councils.
Juliet is intuitive and flexible in her approach which ensures participants can engage in a way that impacts that personally and professionally. It encourages authenticity that influences culture change. Juliet is analytical and able to provide constructive challenge to complex conversations in this space.
