EXPERTISE AND INTERESTS

Tuba’ research focuses on the economic evaluation of health care technologies and interventions and the use of health economic evidence by decision makers. She is especially interested in digital health innovations.

Tuba has contributed to an NIHR-funded project to evaluate the cost-effectiveness of left ventricular assist devices amongst patients with advanced heart failure. As part of her PhD, she developed an economic model to identify optimum smoking cessation interventions for pregnant women. Tuba has also conducted studies in healthcare management.
