EXPERTISE AND INTERESTS

Claudio Di Lorito is a Research Fellow with expertise in health and social care of people living with dementia. Mostly a qualitative researcher, Claudio has a special interest in involving in research underserved groups, including LGBTQ+ and South Asian communities.

In a research career that spans ten years, Claudio has worked in a number of projects aimed at improving quality of life and care for people living with dementia. He has published more than 40 peer-reviewed articles as a main author, including systematic reviews of the literature, process and realist evaluations of complex interventions, qualitative and mixed-methods empirical studies, commentaries, study protocols and intervention development papers.

He has recently been awarded an NIHR ARC North Thames Fellowship for a project entitled 'Promoting uptake and continued use of social care in people with dementia who live alone and have no informal support (SoCeeD)'.
